LTRI Seeking Emerging Leaders for Principal Investigator Roles in Population Health Data Science
The Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute (LTRI) of Sinai Health, affiliated with the University of Toronto, is recruiting two full-time Principal Investigators in the field of Population Health Data Science. The positions focus on innovative research in either infectious diseases—encompassing areas like communicable disease epidemiology and pathogen genomics—or population data linkage utilizing advanced analytical methods such as machine learning across diverse health topics including maternal-child health and complex diseases.
Successful candidates will develop independent research programs within LTRI's collaborative and resource-rich environment, featuring state-of-the-art facilities like biobanking and next-gen sequencing. Cross-appointment opportunities at the University of Toronto and integration into the Data Sciences Institute network are included. Eligible individuals may also be nominated for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair.
